複数の否定文が入るとぱっとわからん
それがこちらの文章
Penny: It was a long story. Anyway, Sheldon, I promise I know what I’m doing. Please let me cut your hair.
ペニー：長い話なのよ。とにかくシェルダン、私がするのを約束するわ。髪を切らせて。Sheldon: Amy, what do you think?
シェルダン：エイミー、どう思う？Amy: There’s not a hair on my body I wouldn’t let this woman trim.
エイミー：全身の毛を託すわ

冷静に考えてみる
分けて考えると、こういうことでしたね。
There’s not a hair on my body
私の体に髪はない
I wouldn’t let this woman trim
私がこの女性に切らせない（髪はない）
ということで、字幕曰く、「全身の毛を託すわ」となるのですが、何がパッとわかりずらかったのか？
否定が２つもあるとわかりづらい
おそらく、英語によくある否定で表す表現が２つ重なったことだと思われます。
まずは、There’s not
直訳だと 〜がある はない。
次に wouldn’t let
直訳だと 〜させない
だから日本語だと
この女性に切らせない髪があるのはない
みたいな感じになるので、多分、何言ってんだ？とこんがらがるんだと思います。
対策は特にないですが、冷静に復習するしかありません。

There is 構文の復習
There is＋名詞で、「～がある」という存在を表すことができます。
名詞が複数形の場合は、isをareにします。
There is構文には制限があります。特定の物、人を表す名詞と一緒に使うことはできません。
Tokyo is in Japan.
ここで、There is Tokyo in Japanとは言えません。
There is構文の短縮形
There is → There’s
There are → There’re
否定文と疑問文
There is構文の否定語notは、be動詞の後ろにつけます。
公園には子供一人もいなかった。
There were not (weren’t) any children in the park.
疑問文では、下記の例文のようにthereとbe動詞を入れ替えるだけです。応答文では「Yes / No, there＋be動詞」となり、名詞を言う必要はありません。
Are there some rats in this hole? Yes, there are. / No, there are not (aren’t).
助動詞が含まれているThere is構文
There is構文には、be動詞の前に助動詞を置くことができます。その場合、be動詞は原型のbeとなります。
There may / might be a cat in my house.
「特定の物、人を表す名詞と一緒に使うことはできません。」がなんでなのかちょっと気になりました。
こういう時は、やはり英語の文章で見てみるのが吉です。

どうして固有名詞は使えないのか？
We know that we can say:
こう言えるのは知ってます。There is a play at the theater tonight.
But can we say:
でも、こう言えますか？There is Hamlet at the theater tonight.
The last sentence sounds a bit odd, but it’s not clear why.
最後の文章はちょっと変。でも、どうしてかクリアじゃない。Is this grammatical. If not, why?
これが文法のことなら、どうして？Is it because Hamlet is a proper noun?
それは、ハムレットが固有名詞だから？
に対して回答は２つ
その通り。こう言うのがいいよ
Yes, but perhaps better to say
そうです。でも、多分こう言ったほうがいい。
“Hamlet is playing at the theatre tonight”, or “Hamlet is on at the theatre tonight”.
文脈によっては言わないこともないけど、単独では変な感じ
Your first example, ‘There is a play on at the theater tonight’, is fine as a standalone sentence (as well as in the following context).
最初の例、
‘There is a play on at the theater tonight’
は通常の文章として大丈夫です。‘There is Hamlet on at the theater tonight’ would only normally be used in context,
‘There is Hamlet on at the theater tonight’ は通常、次の文脈でだけ使われるだろう。after say ‘Is there anything worth seeing in town at the moment?’
これを言った後
‘Is there anything worth seeing in town at the moment?’As a standalone,
単独の文章として、‘Hamlet is on at the theater tonight’ is far more idiomatic.
‘Hamlet is on at the theater tonight’がネイティブが自然に喋る感じだ
ということで、要するに文脈によっては言わないこともないけど、単独では変な感じだよと。
ある種答えにはなってませんね・・・
多分、一般的なネイティブスピーカーになんで？？って聞いても、わからない系の質問なのでしょう。
しかし、私は発見しました。こちらは納得できます。
なぜ固有名詞を使えないのか？

Why don’t we use “there is/are” with proper nouns?
なぜ、固有名詞にthere is を使えないのか？There is a (more or less) logical reason for this.
論理的な理由があります。Normally, when we use the construction “There is/are/was/were/etc.”, we mean that something exists in the place or time specified:
通常、there is構文を使う時、それは何かが特定されたその場所や時間に存在していることを意味します。“There is still honey in the jar.”
ツボにははちみつがある“There have been lots of cloudy days this summer.”
今夏はたくさんの雲があるHowever, by definition,
しかし、当然のこととしてa proper noun refers to something which we already know exists (even if it only exists in the mind of the speaker).
固有名詞は、すでに我々が存在を知っている何かを示すのです。（たとえ、それが話者の頭の中だけに存在しているものでも。）We would say
このように我々はいいます。“The Pacific Ocean is to the west of the Americas.”
but not normally
しかし、普通はこうは言わない。“There is the Pacific Ocean to the west of the Americas.”
because we don’t need to tell anyone that the Pacific Ocean exists.
理由は、太平洋が存在していることを誰にも言う必要がないからです。This is the reason we do not usually use “there is/are” before proper nouns.
これが通常固有名詞にthere is を使わない理由です。However, there are other uses of “there is/are”.
しかし、他の使用法もあります。For example, “there” can simply mean “in that place”:
例えば、thereは単純にその場所を示します。“There’s our hotel, up ahead on the right.”
ホテルが右側の前にあります。In this usage, it is indeed sometimes logical to use “there is/are” with proper nouns:
この使い方では、実は時々、論理的に固有名詞と使われます。“There was the Pacific Ocean, right in front of us.”
太平洋がすぐ我々の前にあります。
まとめると
要するに、知ってることにわざわざあるって言うのは変だと。
日本には東京があります。→知ってるわ！
東京が目の前にあります →ほー、東京に来たのか〜
みたいな感じでしょうか。
そこに という意味があれば使用可能で、一般的にあるよ と言おうとすると変な感じだと。
